A Review on Infant´s Play and Social Development

Abstract

|
Play takes great portion in infant´s everyday life and indeed has much influence on their development. The effective guidance of play most promote infant´s development.
So the purpose of this study is to review the concept, types, and value about infant´s play and sociality .
Infant´s play which is distinguished from adult´s play is the activity to pursue only pleasure aim. It is divided four types that is functional play, imaginative play, acceptive play and constructive without play. And it helps social development of infant. In conclusion, infant´s play should be the one that will bring infants to hold desirable humanity and to have good sociality.
